I sometimes wonder…
if it weren’t for the dark night,
would we appreciate the
dawning with all it’s beauty
and bend to it’s promises new?

It’s almost as if the world stretches and yawns…
and in a sleep-filled voice,
we all whisper together,

dear God,
please show me how i can understand people better.
the one's i don't get along with,
the personalities i might clash with.
you're teaching me to accept, to love unconditionally.
not to judge.
remind me, Jesus, that there's no such thing as
ordinary people.
You made us all.
we can have a heart like Yours.
teach me, teach us;
to understand each other.

anger. hatred. jealousy.
all things that keep us anchored down.
why would you want to be rooted down in Satan?
i want to plant my roots up in Heaven.
Lord knows i struggle with this.
all my past grudges... Lord teach me to let go and let YOU handle it.
what good is it to hang onto the things in the past?
i'm only giving the "devil a foothold" in my life & heart.
when i feel a surge of anger in my heart, pray.
when i feel hatred for all the things they did to me, pray.
when i feel pity bcus they're so caught up in themselves, pray.
pray pray pray.
let go and let God.
how many times must i remind myself that?
i don't want to be a slave in my and other people's sins.
teach me to live a life free from all this.
show me how to live a life worthy of your calling.
compare myself only with what is good, righteous, and pure.
leave the rest to be judged by God.
