I always walk around campus with my headphones on..it drowns out the noisy sounds of daily life. It helps me think about stuff without being distracted with what's going on around me. But after coming up on this passage, i wonder if it's not the other way around. All of that daily-life noise around me is all part of God's creation and His glory can be seen anywhere. So does that make my listening to music constantly once i step outside a classroom a distraction instead? I think i'll try walking quietly tomorrow..and try to hear God. Try to listen to His voice inside my head instead of the music. Maybe i'll fully be attuned to God's voice and not my ipod....
