Joshua 23:14-16
God is always faithful and keeps to His word. Pastor Jeynes said that He works at His own time. In this scripture, Joshua is basically preaching/warning/saying goodbye to the leaders of Israel because he knew his time was almost up. He tells Israel to stay faithful to God and not to turn their heads towards sin. He reminds them that God rescued them from Egypt and led to them to freedom, and our God deserves all praise and glory. He also says, just as God was gentle and merciful, He is also a jealous and angry God who does not tolerate sin. So basically, he tells them to watch it. His last words are about how God will fulfill all His promises, even if it does not happen in your lifetime. As we heard from Rev. Bill Jeynes (i think everyone liked him..he was a huge hittt), even though we may not be around to see God answering our prayers, He still fulfills them. Because God is capital A AWESOME. whadddddup.
God is gooood.
