Romans 8:26-27

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

God knows us better than we do ourselves. Even He knows what we need to pray about, what we should be asking for, because whatever WE think might be good for us probably isn't it- it's probably the opposite and bad for us. A majestic God who created everything cares about the deepest most innermost part of an insignificant human. The world teaches us something different- we are our own persons, we should embrace our individuality, we have power over our own mind/body, etc etc.. but the Word says that that's not it. The Spirit is there in our weakness, not as a crutch but as a stretcher. He lifts us up and carries us out of the dark.
