v11. But I am full of the wrath of the Lord, and I cannot hold it in. "Pour it out on the children in the street and on the young men gathered together; both husband and wife will be caught in it, and the old, those weighed down with years."
- God's wrath and judgment will come first on the young and then the old. God was so angry with them, that He not only punished the offenders, but their children and their children.
v30. They are called rejected silver, because the Lord has rejected them.
- Those people are worthless, they can't be made into anything good. Rejected silver or any other metals are useless, and nothing good can be made from them. Likewise, because those people's hearts were so hardened and stubborn to obey God, He rejected them. We need to follow God's words and obey him as we live our lives. Because we don't want Him to reject us like how He did to them. We want God to use us constantly for furthering His kingdom.
