Psalm 119:105-109

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws. I have suffered much; preserve my life, O LORD, according to Your word. Accept, O LORD, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws. Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law .

God's been teaching me to trust Him these days. I'm slowly but surely learning how to lean on not my own understanding, but His. The world has been dimming the light, but seeking His word is slowly making it all bright and okay again. My heart and mind are all in chaos right now, but I'm finding security and comfort in His presence.

Weird how that is, because some people would just call that religion. I call that faith.

  1. Christianity is not a crutch for the weak, but a stretcher for the dead.
